The Improvement Program Manager will lead global strategic initiatives within the Services & Care organization, driving operational excellence across all S&C units. This role focuses on taking complex problems, innovating potential solutions, and converting ideas into actionable programs. The candidate will develop program charters and manage initiatives from ideation through execution and completion, ensuring alignment with S&C management expectations and delivering measurable impact. This position will enable Nokia to accelerate strategic initiatives, improve resiliency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Success in this role will demonstrate the ability to innovate, execute, and deliver programs that meet or exceed S&C management expectations.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Key Responsibilities
- Problem‑Solving & Innovation:
- Analyze critical business challenges and design innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and customer experience.
- Facilitate ideation workshops and translate concepts into structured improvement programs.
- Charter Development & Governance:
- Draft comprehensive program charters outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Establish governance frameworks and secure stakeholder buy‑in for execution.
- End‑to‑End Program Ownership:
- Drive initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes align with strategic goals.
- Manage multi‑stream projects across diverse units (within S&C in collaboration with other CNS units).
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and timely decision‑making.
- Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
- Promote best practices and foster a culture of innovation within Delivery Excellence.
Key Skills And Experience
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in program management and innovation‑driven initiatives within telecom or technology services.
- Strong ability to translate problems into actionable solutions and manage ideation‑to‑execution cycles.
- Expertise in multi‑stream program coordination and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).

- Excellent communication and influencing skills across senior levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, transformation‑driven environment.
Measurable KPIs & Success Criteria
- Program Delivery:

- Innovation Impact: At least 2 new solution concepts implemented per year that deliver measurable operational improvement.
