About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated legal counsel to join our dynamic team in Lisbon

The ideal candidate will have a commercial & privacy law background, preferably including a 2-3 years’ experience in a
- tier law firm.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for
- house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with
- house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support corporate governance tasks, including company updates, filings, and corporate housekeeping.
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing company legal templates and in various steps within standardization processes.
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing customer and supply contracts, licenses, and other types of legal documents.
  • Monitor data protection matters.
  • Research specific legal questions and provide direct and commercially relevant summaries.
  • Research and map regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation and implementation of compliance policies.
  • Process and respond to complaints and inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a legal environment, with a background in commercial and privacy law, preferably at a
    - tier law firm.
  • Familiarity with digital services markets.
  • Employment and real estate law knowledge is highly valued.
  • Interest and motivation, willingness to learn and deepen knowledge in new areas and skilled at finding efficient and creative solutions.
  • Strong drafting, research, communication, and organizational skills, with competent attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work cross‑functionally with business and product teams.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also disciplined and capable of working independently, including in a remote setting.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
