Your role

The Procurement Officer at the facility will manage the indirect procurement process for all BG
- related products, components and services, and oversee vendor and contract management. This role involves working closely within Engineering, Quality and local Facility managers and other departments, to understand their requirements, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and developing and maintaining vendor relationships. The Global Facility Commodity Manager will also handle contract negotiations, renewals, and performance monitoring to ensure compliance and optimal service delivery.

Your responsibilities

• Define and implement facility procurement, vendor, and contract management processes.
• Manage the
  -
  - end indirect procurement process for Facilities equipment, materials, and services
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and understand their Facility procurement needs and requirements
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with vendors
• Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure
  - quality service and competitive pricing
• Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information
• Assist in budget planning and cost management for Facility procurement at all BG sites
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed procurement decisions

Your story

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in Facility procurement or a similar role in Engineering or Manufacturing at Global Corporates
• Comprehensive knowledge of Facility products, services, and industry trends
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a
  - paced environment
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Adequate English language proficiency, both written and spoken
• Excellent teamwork skills
