Indirect Purchasing Associate II Lisboa

Overview

Indirect Purchasing Associate II at Convatec (Lisbon, Portugal). This role is within Global Business Services (GBS) driving compliance and setting the standard for accuracy and governance. The Gatekeeper role supports the Indirect Purchasing Supervisor delivering excellence by providing quality support to stakeholders while ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, compliance and company purchasing guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Catalogues in line with supplier contracts
• Understand the
  -
  - end purchase process (requisitions, POs, invoice reconciliations, contracts) and promote simplification and improvements
• Global controls for vendor changes (e. g. , bank account verification); ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Promote purchasing best practices to internal stakeholders
• Ensure new vendor requests are accurate and are challenged in line with the PSL
• Ensure customer satisfaction (KPI/survey)

You will collaborate with Global Procurement, Business Stakeholders, suppliers and Finance across the business including other GBS teams in Kuala Lumpur and Bogota, Co
Es, Corporate, Commercial and Market teams. Some flexibility around working hours and time zones is needed.

Skills & Experience

• Problem solving mindset
• Teamwork and communication
• Knowledge of purchasing and catalog maintenance (not mandatory)

Qualifications/Education

• Finance qualification is preferred
• SAP experience 1-2 years
• Previous experience in SSC (not mandatory)
• Excel – medium to advanced
• Fluent Portuguese and English; additional languages a plus

Hybrid working model - 1 day per week at the office.
