Overview:

We are looking for a freelance industrial designer with a multidisciplinary profile to collaborate in the development of an innovative electronic device that integrates laser technology, mechanical components, and electronic elements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense, inspired by the modern and functional style of Apple products, and solid technical experience in metal part design and assembly, 3D modeling, and prototyping.

This freelance collaboration may evolve into a future integration within a growing structure, offering a medium/long-term career opportunity within the company.

What will you do?

• Design the external and internal structure of a new electronic device (including mechanical parts)
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility and system integration of the product
• Produce CAD models, renders, and prototypes (using 3D printing or other techniques)
• Work on the design and assembly of metal parts for
  - scale production
• Ensure a modern, clean, and functional aesthetic in all proposed designs
• Communicate fluently in English and Portuguese; French is a plus
• Issue a valid green receipt or invoice with VAT according to European Union legal standards

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in industrial/product design, preferably in tech companies
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clean and modern design language
• Proficiency in CAD software (e. g. , Solid
  Works, Fusion 360, Rhino, etc. ).
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and electronic integration
• Experience with 3D printing and metal design for manufacturing
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
