The role:
As Industrial Equipment & Medical Devices Industry Manager at Critical Manufacturing, you will play a central role in developing our company strategy around key verticals, as defined by our broader business strategy. This position represents one of the few strategic industries we are actively prioritizing, with a current emphasis on medical devices and industrial equipment. We’re seeking someone with deep expertise in medical devices, and broader experience in life sciences, particularly in pharmaceuticals, which would be a valuable plus. It's a unique opportunity to drive transformation into a highly regulated industry while helping shape how we position, deliver, and grow.
What you’ll do:
- Define the vision and strategy for the industry segment, aligned with product, market, and company goals
- Act as the industry expert, driving thought leadership, disseminating industry knowledge, and leading strategic initiatives that enhance the company’s market position
- Analyze market trends, Industry regulations, and competitors to shape the segment roadmap
- Collaborating with Product, Delivery, Marketing, and Sales to ensure alignment and execution
- Support sales teams with market insights and solution positioning
- Lead the Industry Group, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve business goals
What you must have:
- More then 5 years of
- on experience or deep knowledge of the target industry (e. g. , semiconductor, medical devices, electronics) to understand its language, trends, and unique challenges - Direct experience specifying or implementing MES within the industry
- Business application knowledge for MOM (e. g. ERP, PLM, MES, APM, WMS, etc. )
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into business value, build

- market strategies and influence senior leadership - Comfortable creating or contributing to thought leadership (e. g. , whitepapers, presentations, webinars) and collaborating with marketing on campaign themes and messaging
- Familiarity with
- specific standards, compliance requirements (e. g. , FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for med device), and market dynamics - Comfortable drafting whitepapers, articles, or conference presentations tailored to the needs and language of the specific vertical
- Ability to speak fluently with both technical and executive audiences; strong storytelling and public speaking experience preferred
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%): Travel to customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings as needed to build relationships and represent Critical Manufacturing
- Excellent English skills – spoken and written
What we consider a plus (not mandatory):
- Understanding of project management and solution delivery in industrial software environments
- Background in IT architecture or programming
- Background in Pharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of Industrial engineering
