• Junior Information Security Analyst (Part-Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated and
- oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of information security policies and procedures to protect our company's data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats
2. Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious or unauthorized access attempts
3. Implement security controls and measures to prevent data breaches or cyber attacks
4. Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans and participate in drills to test their effectiveness
5. Provide support for security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
6. Stay

   - date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to information security

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices
• Familiarity with common network protocols and operating systems
• Excellent

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must have own visa for employment in Funchal

This is a
- time position with flexible hours. Compensation will be based on experience.
