Information Technology Manager vacancy in Lisbon Portugal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As an IT Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure, including managing hardware and software installations, maintaining network security, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying current with the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all IT operations, including hardware and software installations, network security, and data backup
2. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure smooth system functioning
3. Oversee maintenance and upgrades of existing systems to meet company needs
4. Monitor network performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency
5. Stay updated with technology trends and recommend new systems or upgrades
6. Train employees on new systems or software as needed
7. Troubleshoot hardware, software, or network issues
8. Implement security measures and regularly back up data to ensure data security
9. Manage relationships with external vendors supporting IT systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or related position
• Deep knowledge of hardware, software systems, networks, and security protocols
• Strong project management skills with multitasking and prioritization abilities
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts simply
• Creative
  - solving and analytical skills
• Proven leadership experience managing a team
• Experience with external IT vendors is preferred
• Fluency in English required; Portuguese knowledge is a plus

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month, including accommodation in Lisbon. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
