International IT Recruiter – Desktop Support Engineer (Part-Time Freelance Contractor)

Experience Required: More than 3 years in IT Support, specifically Windows Desktop support (3‑4 years preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide break‑fix, fault diagnosis, and resolution for desktop environments.
• Deliver fault analysis and support for customers’ core operating systems and platforms.
• Perform first/second‑level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Maintain timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Track and update tickets for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8. 1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized desktop applications.
• Provide basic support for Mac operating system users.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and peripheral equipment.
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software issues.
• Possess broad IT experience and a basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecoms.
