About the role

We are seeking a Infrastructure & Performance Engineer to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build and operate Azure infrastructure for reliability, cost efficiency, and scale (compute, storage, networking, AKS, managed DBs).
• Architect and maintain network topologies: VNET peering, VPNs (point-to-site,
  -
  - site), Azure Virtual WAN, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement and operate secure connectivity (IPSec, TLS, certificates, m
  TLS, SAML/OIDC integrations).
• Drive database performance: profiling, indexing, query tuning, schema design, replication/HA strategies.
• Plan and deliver platform scalability: high availability, autoscaling, capacity planning, chaos testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Build and manage container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS/Container Apps) with secure, automated deployments.
• Own observability: metrics, tracing, logs, SLOs, alerting, and
  - term capacity/usage reporting.
• Automate infrastructure as code, CI/CD, deployments, certificate issuance/rotation, and runbooks.
• Lead incident response and
  - mortems; harden systems for
  - grade security.

What We’re Looking For:

• Software engineer degree.
• 5+ years operating cloud infrastructure; Azure expertise required (AWS will be a plus).
• Deep networking expertise with fluency in all 7 layers of the OSI model and network debugging tools such as Wireshark.
• Strong understanding of routing, VPNs, firewalls, NAT, BGP basics, and load balancing.
• Strong database performance skills: query profiling, indexing, execution plans, replication, and tuning for both relational and distributed DBs.
• Proven experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS) in production environments.
• Comfort with certificate management and encryption at rest/in transit; PKI, TLS lifecycle automation.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Observability & monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK/Open
  Search, or similar.
• Excellent debugging skills for distributed systems, plus strong communication for
  - team collaboration.

Huge Plus:

• Knowledge of PBX, SIP, and Vo
  IP systems - ability to setup, troubleshoot, or optimize telephony infrastructure.
• Experience with Zero-Trust architectures, SOC2 / ISO27001 readiness, or security audits.
• Advanced Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service mesh.
• Knowledge of No
  SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, Rabbit
  MQ and caching strategies.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Power
  Shell, or bash; CI/CD with Git
  Hub Actions or Azure Dev
  Ops.
• Familiarity with penetration testing, network hardening, and secure baseline configs.
