Job Description

The IT function is expanding its capabilities and is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring they are secure, healthy, efficient, and scalable. Additionally, you will maintain and support our physical and virtual network infrastructure.

You will report to the Internal IT Infrastructure Manager, part of the IT team dedicated to providing effective, efficient, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure for its users.

This position is
- independent; we are open to hiring in any Unit4 location.

What you will do:

1. Design and deploy Azure Wintel & AD solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
2. Manage Iaa
   S and Paa
   S cloud resources in Microsoft Azure using the Systems Management platform and Security Management Tools to ensure proper and efficient operation aligned with business needs.
3. Manage and maintain the Azure Active Directory / Entra ID infrastructure, including domains, forests, and replication.
4. Manage Group Policies by creating, managing, and enforcing GPOs to control and configure Windows-based systems.
5. Manage DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
6. Develop and maintain standards based on leading practices for monitoring operational and performance statistics.
7. Develop and maintain standards and processes for patch and update deployments.
8. Collaborate with global teams to optimize MS components for performance and security to meet business needs.
9. Configure and install physical and virtual network devices and services (e. g. , routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, Qo
   S).
10. Maintain WAN, LAN, and wireless networks, including upgrades, service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

Qualifications

• ICT-related Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience with Azure services/technologies (like virtual machines, blob, queues, tables, Azure Active Directory, Virtual networks, etc. ) and deep technical expertise in infrastructure design, build, and deployment in private and Azure clouds, including Azure networking and storage. Familiarity with VMware and virtualization is a plus.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering, automation, and management.
• Experience automating Windows systems with Power
  Shell or similar tools.
• Experience supporting Windows systems in a
  - platform environment (OSX, Linux, i
  OS, Android).
• Additional skills include Hyper-V/VMWare, Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Express
  Route, Azure AD, AD Connect, Operations Management Suite/Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Import/Export, Azure SQL Server, My
  SQL, Azure Automation.
• Effective communication skills and fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours and participate in weekend
  - call support.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-800 are advantageous.
