Role Overview:

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (Virtualization) to join our teams at one of the largest and leading Portuguese companies in the telecommunications and information technology sector, with a solid presence in both the residential and business markets. Based in Lisbon (Hybrid).

You will be part of a team that is characterized by collaboration, innovation, and customer focus, in an environment that values professional growth and technical autonomy.

What you will do:

• Design and document technical architectures for storage and backup solutions, considering performance, security, availability, and costs;
  
  
• Collaborate with business areas to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Support
  - sales activities by preparing technical proposals and architecture presentations.
• Administer and maintain VMware v
  Sphere and KVM virtualization platforms.
• Manage and support Linux (RHEL-based, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
• Design and deliver
  - ready infrastructure architectures.

What you are like:

• Proven experience with VMware v
  Sphere administration and KVM management.
• Strong system administration skills in RHEL-based distributions, Ubuntu, and Windows Server.
• Solid understanding of hardware, switching, and storage systems.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Scripting experience in Bash and/or Python.
• Fluency in English.
