Role Overview:

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (Storage & Backup) to join our teams at one of the largest and leading Portuguese companies in the telecommunications and information technology sector, with a solid presence in both the residential and business markets. Based in Lisbon (Hybrid).

You will be part of a team that is characterized by collaboration, innovation, and customer focus, in an environment that values professional growth and technical autonomy.

What you will do:

• Design and document technical architectures for storage and backup solutions, considering performance, security, availability, and costs;
• Collaborate with business areas to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Support
  - sales activities by preparing technical proposals and architecture presentations.
• Perform system administration on RHEL-based distributions, Ubuntu, and Windows Server environments.
• Manage SAN and enterprise storage systems, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Administer backup solutions using Commvault, including policy creation, job monitoring, and troubleshooting.

What you are like:

• Experience as na Infrastructure Engineer - Storage & Backup;
• Experience with backup administration, SAN and Storage Administration;
• Bash/Python scripting experience is valued.
• Fluency in English.
