Position Overview
We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing courses on AI engineering for different target audiences. This is a full‑time remote contract position.
What You Will Do
- Audit existing courses on AI Engineering for cognitive load, difficulty level, and alignment with learning goals.
- Work with student feedback and subject‑matter expert recommendations to identify areas for course quality improvement.
- Adapt courses for different target audiences, including tech and non‑tech professionals.
- Collaborate with a Product Manager and SMEs to update course content.
- Maintain a backlog of improvements.
- Participate in learning needs analysis and high‑level course design for new courses teaching Nebius Products.
- Map learning outcomes for the whole course and for each module and lesson.
- Collaborate with the production team to create content based on SME materials, including practice exercises and learning aids.
- Create and keep documentation about courses up to date.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an instructional designer, learning experience designer, learning content developer, or program designer.
- Proven experience working with technical topics such as software engineering, data science, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of models and methodologies for complex skill learning.
- Ability to develop various forms of educational content (long reads, video, projects, practice tasks, infographics, assessment, etc. ).
- Experience designing and implementing skills and knowledge assessments.
- Capability to structure educational experiences and build Learning Journey Maps (LJMs).
- Proficiency with modern tools such as Figma, Hey
Gen, and Supademo. - English proficiency.

- Experience in customer education and creating software instructions.
- Background in programming or another IT profession (degree, certification, or prior work experience).
