We are seeking Java Developers with a strong interest or experience in HL7 integration, open to all seniority levels. You will join a team dedicated to developing and maintaining healthcare systems, with a particular focus on interoperability and data exchange based on HL7 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications focused on healthcare system integration.
• Implement and support HL7-based data exchange (e. g. , HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR).
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Junior: 0–2 years
• Mid-Level: 3–8 years
• Senior: 9+ years

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in HL7 standards (training or
  - on experience is a plus).

Languages (mandatory)

• Portuguese: B2/C1 (oral, written, comprehension).
• English: B2/C1 (oral, written, comprehension).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• HL7 Expertise: Experience with HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Dev
  Ops & CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, Git, Sonar
  Qube, and Maven.
• Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL and Elasticsearch.
• Messaging Systems: Experience with Kafka or similar message brokers.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker/Podman and Kubernetes.
• Testing: Proficiency with JUnit, Test
  Containers, or similar frameworks.
• Security: Understanding of OAuth2, Open
  ID Connect, and secure API development practices.
