Position: Integration Specialist – Expert in Digital Accessibility (RGAA)

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Type: Fulltime, Hybrid from Lisbon (2-3 days onsite per week)

Languages: English (C1 level)

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Education & Professional Background

• Degree in Web Development, Digital Integration, or another relevant field.
• Demonstrable experience in web integration, ideally with a strong focus on accessibility.
• Accessibility-related certifications are a valuable plus.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and Java
  Script integration.
• Solid understanding of accessibility regulations, especially RGAA and WCAG.
• Experience with modern
  - end frameworks (e. G. , Vue. Js or similar).
• Strong proficiency in accessibility validation and auditing tools (Axe, Wave, etc. ).
• Good understanding of UX principles and inclusive design methodologies.

Soft Skills:

• Genuine interest in accessibility and inclusive digital experiences.
• Meticulous, structured, and attentive to detail.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively with
  - functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate user interface components using HTML, CSS, and Java
  Script, ensuring accessibility is embedded from the start.
• Review and validate digital products to ensure full alignment with RGAA and WCAG guidelines.

  - friendly layouts.
• Carry out structured accessibility evaluations, identify gaps, and define clear corrective actions.
• Make use of accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, etc. , to validate compliance.
• Provide guidance, training, and awareness sessions to internal teams on accessibility requirements.
• Keep track of developments in accessibility legislation, tools, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
