We are looking for an International Financial Reporting Controller
This role is part of the Group Finance team, focusing on IFRS consolidation and reporting for insurance operations. The successful candidate will deliver and validate IFRS packages, ensure accurate accounting presentation, perform analyses, and support process improvements. The goal is to guarantee
- quality, timely reporting while enhancing data accuracy and efficiency.
MAIN TASKS:
Ensure IFRS consolidation package delivery within deadlines and regulations.
Control and validate quarterly IFRS packages from countries (including harmonization restatements).
Contribute to proper accounting presentation of insurance operations in consolidated statements.
Perform analysis reviews and document restructuring operations.
Review and monitor quarterly IFRS Gap controls.
Document all work in line with international permanent control requirements.
Propose and write guidelines/procedures to strengthen reporting reliability.
Ensure clear audit trail documentation in quarterly closing files.
Guarantee reporting deadlines are met and propose improvements.
Lead continuous improvement of data quality and efficiency with countries/teams.
Provide regular activity reporting to team and manager.
Support resolution of complex reporting issues (M&A, new entities, ceded activities).
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS :
3–5 years of experience in financial consolidation and/or IFRS reporting.
Knowledge of insurance accounting (asset), banking knowledge is a plus.
Strong command of IFRS standards, accounting, and tax rules.
Analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate, adapt, and manage complexity.
Fluent English (C1/C2 mandatory); French, Spanish, Italian or other languages are a plus.
Hybrid role in Porto Office.
