International Tax Senior Associate - Lisboa

Greenvolt is looking for an International Tax Senior Associate to join our Tax team, responsible for the following tasks:

Tax monitoring of the Greenvolt Group's companies in several geographies;
Give support on tax compliance matters across different countries, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and Transfer Pricing.
Support in due diligence and M&A processes;
Global tax reporting;
Improving activities, policies, and practices to maintain compliance with changing laws and regulations;
Assist with any tax enquiries from the tax authorities as well as from the business.
Act as the
- line responder for general tax queries from the business, providing tax advice on business initiatives, contracts, and transactions.
Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors regarding any tax issues that may arise in the geographies where the Group is present.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to improve
- related procedures.

Profile:

Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or similar subject;
3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role or in a Big Four or a Law firm;
Relevant professional experience in International Taxation;
Experience in providing tax advice on M&A and financial transactions;
Relevant professional experience in International Taxation.
Good knowledge of international tax laws and rules (CIT, VAT, WHT, and Transfer Pricing).
Strong interest in and understanding of tax matters and tax law;
Self-review, discipline, and intellectual curiosity;
Strong numeric skills and attention to detail.
Good technical accounting skills;
Fluent in English (mandatory);
Strong Excel skills;
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
