Part-Time Interpreter in Braga, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
- time interpreter to join our team in Braga, Portugal.

As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your role will be crucial in ensuring effective communication and understanding between our clients and their counterparts.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide accurate interpretation services in a professional manner
2. Facilitate communication between clients and their counterparts
3. Interpret spoken language into another language accurately and clearly
4. Listen carefully to both parties to ensure accurate translation
5. Use specialized vocabulary and terminology when necessary
6. Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times
7. Adapt to different interpreting settings, such as business meetings, conferences, medical appointments, etc.
8. Collaborate with other interpreters if necessary

Requirements:

1. Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken)
2. Proven experience as an interpreter or in a similar role
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Familiarity with relevant software and interpretation tools
5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
6. Knowledge of specialized vocabulary in fields such as medical, legal, or business
7. Biometric passport for international travel is required

Additional Information:

Salary: Starting at €1500 per month for
- time work. Full-time opportunities may be available in the future.

Location: Braga, Portugal
