IP Network Engineer
Job Description
Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design/deployment/integration/transformation, and education. It aims to generate revenue and increase customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimizing, operating, and maintaining phases.
Care (CAR) involves supporting customers (per contractual service agreements) and internal Nokia stakeholders in
- and
- sales activities, including
- level contact for software and hardware incidents or requests. It ensures service delivery readiness and provides recommendations to product teams on design for serviceability, including escalation of key issues.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
We seek motivated,
- learning individuals eager to understand complex IP networks. As part of the team, you will:
- Investigate, isolate, and resolve
- reported problems, ensuring satisfaction. - Maintain communication with customer technical personnel about issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams across regions to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Perform remote technical support for 24x7 network outage restoration.
- Provide
- site support if needed to foster strong customer relationships.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer, Electric/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Fluent English skills.
- Knowledge of advanced network topics such as L2/L3 VPN Services, BNG, Qo
S, NRS1 + SRC Interior Routing protocol, Nokia DC certifications. - Strong customer orientation and effective communication skills.
Nice-to-have skills include:
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS telecommunication technology and familiarity with ITU standards.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in testing and troubleshooting IP/MPLS routers.
- Quick learner,
- oriented, adaptable, and flexible.
