? We are looking for a IT Administrator
MAIN TASKS:
Project Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze technical requirements for system enhancements.
- Participate in change request processes for both technical and functional updates.
- Support technical testing and ensure smooth delivery into production.
- Launch and follow up on assigned initiatives, ensuring deadlines and schedules are respected.
- Identify product gaps and suggest improvements.
- Communicate and apply project standards, taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and provide timely status updates.
Application Support Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support, analyze reported issues, and propose alternative solutions or workarounds.
- Ensure smooth execution of technical processes (online, STP, flows, batches), and maintain documentation for known issues.
- Act as first point of contact for
- related tasks and inquiries. - Manage communications with internal users and external clients.
- Monitor application status and infrastructure resources.
- Handle incoming support tickets and calls, assess priorities, and execute technical tasks.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with IT best practices, security standards, and departmental guidelines.
- Participate in
- call rotations and support during weekends or extraordinary activities.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
Technical Skills:
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, capable of creating diagrams and documentation.
- Experience managing services on Linux/Windows servers (start/stop/deploy/debug).
- Scripting skills in Shell, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, GIT/Bitbucket (plus).
- Understanding of application servers (Web
Sphere, Tomcat, JBoss). - Experience with job schedulers (e. g. , Control-M, CA Workload Automation).
- Solid knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP/S).
- Understanding of system architectures (SSO, firewalls, load balancers, storage, networking).
Language Skills:
- English – Mastery (written and spoken).
- Italian – Fluency is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Team player with high performance, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Ability to work in a
