Responsibilities
- Service Design and Service Transition: Task can occur in the following main activity clusters: Service Design, Service Transition, coordination, testing support, and documentation.
- Service Design: Create blueprint or specification for an IT solution.
- Service Transition: Build new IT solution (e. g. , customizing and developments) triggered by Incidents, Changes, Problems or Projects.
- Coordinate and steer others (developers, external/internal consultants) within area of responsibility (work package, function, etc. ).
- Align with requester (e. g. , key user) for testing and quality assurance, support deployment and provide proper documentation.
- As Project or Change Lead, ensure proper handling of scope, quality, time and budget.
- Change Manager: provide progress and status updates according to IT-AM framework; update Service Now in time within the agreed times.
- Communicate and align with requester and stakeholder as overall contact person; use escalation procedures in case of disagreements.
- Actively gain knowledge in the assigned area if any changes appear or if a new process is implemented; review changed/new documentation and create documentation stored on central storage as defined.
- Train other persons in the area (IT knowledge transfer; business trainings are possible on request if useful) and ensure creating/using proper training material.
- Ensure clear communication to other colleagues that SMEs in the defined area are available.
- Provide continuous improvements in the particular area of expertise and actively push those ideas to the IT organization up to getting a decision on further steps as implementation.
Responsibilities (continued)
- Service Operations: 2nd and 3rd level support of service operations for Incidents and Problems.
- Take over 24/7
- duty support where needed (in alignment with SOM).
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration and Information Technology
- Minimum professional experience ->3 years
- Business process automotive
- Proficient knowledge in SAP EWM, SAP Materials Management, SAP Logistics Execution; Basic knowledge in SD and PP, ABAP, ITIL knowledge, Master Data Management
- Knowledge of communication protocols, EDI standards (VDA, EDIFACT) and its message segments structure
- Fluency in written and spoken English

- Availability to travel
