Job Description:

CONTEXT:

The team is responsible for the implementation of a unified internet solution (reporting and transactional) for Securities services clients worldwide.

The internet portal delivers to clients the capabilities to manage all operations for their financial securities portfolio.

The department is organized as an agile tribe with multiple squads ensuring functional and technical evolution of the platform following scrum/safe methodology.

MISSION:

The IT Business Analyst will integrate one of the squads working closely with the squad product owner and development team to ensure business needs are adequately translated into functional specifications and delivered with the required quality.

He/She will work from Lisbon (hybrid model) collaborating daily with a global team in a
- country and
- cultural environment

Main Tasks:

• Collect, analyze and prioritize business requirements, anticipating problems and evaluating impacts
• Identify and specify the solution with squad and tribe architects. Effectively breakdown business needs into requirements contained within a product backlog which can then be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.
• Clearly communicate those business needs to the development team by writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Test user stories during development phase and contribute to increase test automation coverage.
• Perform non regression testes before production delivery
• Participate in the organization of user acceptance tests with the end users.
• Write and update documentation with content adapted to target audience (Development, Product and Support teams) and deliver training sessions.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a business analyst working in a context of agile software development
• Experience in translating business requirements into user stories, use cases and technical requirements.
• Working knowledge of software development life cycle, including estimation techniques, planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
• College degree (B. S. ) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems or equivalent professional experience.
• SQL and relational databases

• Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization’s business areas.
