To make this journey a success, we are looking for our future IT Business Manager – Insurance, ready to grow with us and support our clients in their digital transformation.

As an IT Business Manager – Insurance at Ivy Partners, you will:

Client Relationship & Business Development

• Act as the key partner for a portfolio of leading insurance clients.
• Identify their digital and technological transformation needs (automation, digital platforms, cloud migration, AI for claims & underwriting, customer experience solutions).
• Develop new opportunities and accounts within the insurance ecosystem (life, health, P&C, brokers, reinsurers).

Digital Transformation & Project Coordination

• Drive IT and digital transformation initiatives with full accountability for delivery and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, developers, and consultants to ensure smooth execution of IT projects.
• Anticipate upcoming trends and support clients on innovation topics such as data analytics, cybersecurity, and regulatory technology (Reg
  Tech).

Talent & Team Management

• Collaborate with recruitment teams to identify and onboard top IT and insurance experts.
• Mentor consultants, supporting their development in digital transformation and
  - specific challenges.
• Build
  - performing teams by aligning technical skills with client projects.

Financial & Contract Management

• Monitor the financial performance (P&L) of your portfolio.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring sustainable profitability.

About you

• Background as Business Manager, Account Manager, or Project Manager within consulting, IT services, or insurance.
• Strong knowledge of IT transformation projects (core insurance systems, cloud, automation, digital customer journey, data & AI).
• Understanding of insurance sector challenges: Solvency II, IFRS 17, customer experience, cost efficiency, and innovation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with CIOs, CTOs, and senior business stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven business development abilities.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
