It Change Manager_lisbon
We are seeking an experienced IT Change Manager to oversee and manage the change management process within our IT department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) frameworks and experience in managing change processes to minimize service disruptions and ensure smooth transitions.
1. Change Management:
- Oversee the change management process, ensuring all changes are documented, reviewed, and approved before implementation.
- Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to assess the impact and risks associated with proposed changes.
- Coordinate with various IT teams to schedule and implement changes with minimal disruption to services.
2. Risk Assessment:
- Conduct risk assessments for proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all changes comply with ITIL best practices and organizational policies.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all change requests, approvals, and outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports on change management activities, including metrics on success rates, failures, and improvements.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure they are informed about upcoming changes and their potential impact.
- Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, and business units to align change management processes with organizational goals.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously review and improve change management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest ITIL frameworks and industry best practices.
