IT Demand Analyst Lisboa

Responsibilities

• Collect and classify Technological Demands, IT Requirements, Business Needs and Non-Functional Requirements from internal Business Areas when a request is received in IT.
• Understand with Business Areas the purposes, ideas and objectives behind technological business needs and convert them to a technical vision that can be worked / understood by IT Teams.
• Support IT teams and mainly Architecture team in the concept of new solutions, and on the Application lifecycle management
• Suggest enhancements and ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Provide support to different IT teams creating and updating functional documentation
• Participate in technological projects providing functional support.
• Collect Solutions, estimations and plans from IT teams providing them to Business (Converting technical solutions to a business understanding perspective with the help of the IT teams).
• Support the Demand Management process and IT Portfolio, supporting the elaboration of Forecasts and Reports related with demand Status.

Hard Skills and Experience

• IT Knowledge and Background (2 years or more as a Functional Analyst).
• Functional Analysis Knowledge (Requirement analysis).
• Ability to document and design flows / diagrams all collected information.
• Ability to convert technical documentation to a Business understanding approach and vice versa.
• Experience in IT Project Management and Agile Methodologies.

Academic Background

• Degree in IT academic Background ( a blended degree between Business and IT is preferred such as “Computer science and Business Management”).
