We are seeking an IT EHS SAP Expert to join the Support & Maintenance team to work on SAP EHS-related solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance SAP EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Support incidents and bugs.
• Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity.
• Write functional specifications for developers.
• Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes.
• Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.
• Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications.
• Support key EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, and global label management.
• Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern), Poison Control Notification (PCN), and other registration processes as applicable in the chemicals industry.

Qualifications

• Deep
  - on experience with SAP EHS in areas such as Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, PCN, 3E.
• Expertise in SAP EHS Expert Rules setup, modification, and configuration.
• Understanding of SAP BW report structure and basic knowledge of SAP BW reports and interfacing.
• General SAP EHS customization experience.
• Knowledge in transversal business capabilities (e. g. , Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene).
• Familiarity with Global Label Management (GLM) and S/4 Product Compliance.
• Experience with interfacing, IDocs, and ALE.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are appreciated.
• Basic understanding of software development and interfacing tools is beneficial.

Location and work model

Location: Portugal. Hybrid work is allowed.
