IT EHS SAP Expert

We are seeking an IT EHS SAP Expert to join the Support & Maintenance team to work on SAP EHS-related solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance SAP EHS applications, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
- Support incidents and bugs.
- Apply technical expertise to manage, improve, and support existing software applications to ensure business continuity.
- Write functional specifications for developers.
- Test, validate, and document customizations and development changes.
- Collaborate with product managers and HSE experts to analyze business and functional requirements and propose solutions for EHS processes.
- Participate as a project member or Project Manager for the development of new software applications.
- Support key EHS processes including Product Safety, SDS Authoring and distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, and global label management.
- Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT), SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern), Poison Control Notification (PCN), and other registration processes as applicable in the chemicals industry.
Qualifications
- Deep
- on experience with SAP EHS in areas such as Product Safety, SVT, SVHC, PCN, 3E. - Expertise in SAP EHS Expert Rules setup, modification, and configuration.
- Understanding of SAP BW report structure and basic knowledge of SAP BW reports and interfacing.
- General SAP EHS customization experience.
- Knowledge in transversal business capabilities (e. g. , Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene).
- Familiarity with Global Label Management (GLM) and S/4 Product Compliance.
- Experience with interfacing, IDocs, and ALE.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are appreciated.
- Basic understanding of software development and interfacing tools is beneficial.
Location and work model
Location: Portugal. Hybrid work is allowed.
