As an IT Infrastructure Specialist for Manufacturing Systems, you will design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing processes. Your role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of systems that drive production. This involves a
- on approach, proactive
- solving, and collaboration across departments to align IT with manufacturing goals. Your work will directly impact system performance by reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and supporting advanced manufacturing technologies. Staying ahead of emerging trends to propose innovative solutions is also essential.
Your contribution includes:
- Designing, deploying, and managing IT infrastructure for manufacturing systems, including servers, networks, and storage;
- Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software used in manufacturing;
- Ensuring uptime and performance of critical systems like MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems);
- Collaboratingwith manufacturing and engineering teams to align IT solutions with operational goals;
- Implementing cybersecurity protocols to protect manufacturing data and systems;
- Managing backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans;
- Providing technical support and training to manufacturing staff;
- Coordinating IT projects with internal partners;
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency;
- Analyzing system performance metrics to propose improvements.
What distinguishes you:
- Education:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Experience:
Over 3 years in IT infrastructure management, preferably in manufacturing;
experience with database administration;
conducting IT risk assessments and emergency response planning. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of MES, PLCs, LAN/WAN, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting skills. - Languages:
Fluent English (C1 level). - Personality:
Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and adaptability in intercultural environments.
