Job Description
As an IT Infrastructure Specialist for Manufacturing Systems, you will design, implement, and maintain a robust IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing processes. Your role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of systems that drive production. This position requires a

- solving, and collaboration with departments to align IT with manufacturing goals. Your work will impact system performance by minimizing downtime, enhancing efficiency, and supporting advanced manufacturing technologies. You will also stay ahead of emerging trends to propose innovative solutions that improve operations.
Your contribution to something big
- Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing systems, including servers, networks, and storage
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software used in manufacturing
- Ensure uptime and performance of critical manufacturing systems, including MES
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to align IT solutions with operational goals
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect manufacturing data and systems
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff on IT systems
- Coordinate IT projects with internal partners
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reliability
- Analyze system performance metrics and propose improvements to reduce downtime
Qualifications
What distinguishes you
- Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 3+ years in IT infrastructure management, preferably in manufacturing; experience with database administration; conducting IT risk assessments and emergency response planning
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of MES and PLCs; proficiency in LAN/WAN, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization; cybersecurity principles; troubleshooting skills
- Languages: Fluent English (C1 level)
- Personality: Excellent communication, collaboration skills;
- minded and comfortable in intercultural environments
