Overview

IT - Global Service Owner & Cloud Security Architect (W/M/X) at Syensqo. This role is part of the Cybersecurity team and is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud security strategies to protect the organization’s infrastructure and data from evolving threats.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with organizational policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Design and deploy cloud security solutions across platforms and environments.
• Define and enforce security policies and configurations to ensure proper protection, detection, and incident response capabilities.
• Monitor endpoint protection tools for suspicious activity and lead incident response efforts related to cloud security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate with IT teams to drive timely remediation actions.
• Lead security awareness initiatives and training programs to promote a culture of security within the organization.
• Collaborate closely with internal cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure a unified approach, and report regularly on the cloud security posture, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e. G. , CISSP, CISM) are a strong plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in cloud security architecture and engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud security technologies, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• A deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and attack methodologies.
• Excellent analytical thinking and
  - solving skills to manage complex security incidents.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
  - functionally and explain technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
• A strong sense of empowerment and accountability, with the ability to lead, influence, and deliver results in a collaborative environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
