We are looking for an IT Support Technician – Industrial Environment to join one of our biggest clients, a global leader in the development of innovative solutions for the manufacturing and industrial automation sector.

Location: On-site in Aveiro

What you will do:

• Support production areas in tasks related to computer network security and inventory management
• Verify viruses and perform data checks on production equipment (PLC, HMI, PC, etc. )
• Assist in the implementation of Remote Shopfloor Access (RSA) and IT device registration in inventory systems (MDEV)
• Plan interventions with factory teams and support IT documentation and backup processes

What you are like:

• Academic background in IT, Computer Science, or similar, with knowledge in IT support (PC installation, backups, disk imaging, troubleshooting)
• Experience in industrial automation and ability to distinguish hardware types (PLC, HMI, PC)
• Basic knowledge of networks (VLANs, IP/MAC addresses)
• Ability to read and update technical documentation in English
• Proactive in executing tasks and suggesting improvements, with autonomy and collaboration skills
