IT Helpdesk (m/f/d)

One of the world’s leading Supply Chain operator is hiring an IT Helpdesk (m/f/d) to join its team, in Lisbon.
Your new role
- Act as a local IT business partner, aligning terminal operations with HQ IT standards and support models;
- Manage and maintain diverse IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security systems, CCTV, voice systems, and automation technologies;
- Deliver daily
- user support, manage Service Desk tickets, and resolve incidents through root cause analysis and escalation when necessary; - Ensure accurate tracking of IT assets, warranties, inventories, and maintenance contracts with regular reporting;
- Support and implement IT projects, coordinate with vendors, and monitor their performance to meet service expectations;
- Apply corporate IT procedures and controls, participate in change and configuration management, and test IT continuity plans;
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements through collaboration across departments;
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system reports, and budget tracking data;
- Uphold a positive,
- oriented approach while ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in technology field (Computer, Electronics and Communication), or proven experience;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in IT system implementation and support;
- Fluency in English and/or Spanish - mandatory;
- Understanding of network services – WAN – LAN – Wi-Fi – indoor / outdoor cabling;
- Understanding of servers – storage systems, and virtualisation - Experience of end user computers PC / Laptop / Printers / Mobile devices;
- Experience of Microsoft Office & Operating systems - Understanding of basic system security, access controls, vpn, firewalls, antiviruses, etc;
- Strong communication skills working across teams, being a collaborative team player.
- Availability to work in a different time zone.
