Your mission

At Dorel, we are looking for an IT Manager with the ability to ensure the effective management of the company`s IT Infrastructure by leading

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the IT systems department, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company's systems.
• Develop and implement strategies for system troubleshooting to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
• Create and execute plans for upgrading system software.
• Stay updated with the latest system technologies and report findings to the leadership.
• Collaborate with other department managers to assess and address the company's growth and maintenance needs.
• Manage the IT systems department budget, ensuring
  - effective solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, and maintain data security standards.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet business objectives.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of systems management.
• Excellent
  - solving skills and the ability to develop effective troubleshooting strategies.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Knowledge of database management and optimization.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficiency in system integration and data migration.
• Understanding of business process modeling and improvement.
• Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
