Our client, a leading Portuguese company in the distribution and logistics sector, is seeking an IT Manager – Systems Development and Operations (on-site). In this role, you will lead the development and operation of critical IT systems, manage a team of IT professionals, and ensure efficient, secure, and scalable technology solutions across the organisation.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Systems Engineering.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Minimum of 5 years’ experience coordinating teams in application development and data integration.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong leadership, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills for team management, project coordination, and user engagement.
• Communication & Operational Orientation: Excellent communication skills,
  - focused mindset, and ability to manage priorities in an operational context.
• Logistics & Systems Integration: Knowledge of logistics activities (warehousing, distribution, etc. ) and experience with WMS, TMS, and BI solutions.
• SQL Server & Data Services: Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SQL Server (T-SQL), SSIS, SSRS, and Windows Services for regular data export.
• ERP Expertise: Knowledge and experience with Sage X3 ERP, including its architecture and functional capabilities.
• Systems Architecture: Familiarity with information systems architecture, ideally aligned with ITIL standards.
• Data Analytics & BI: Experience with data analytics processes and Business Intelligence projects using Power BI.
• Dev
  Ops & Tools: Experience using Azure Dev
  Ops.
• Integration & ERP Development(Preferred): Experience in integration/interoperability projects using Web Services/APIs, Sage X3 ERP development modules, Web Services structure, and ERP programming language (4GL).
• Additional Technical Skills(Preferred): Experience with EDI transactions and Crystal Reports.
• Language Skills: Native Portuguese and proficiency in English (a plus).
