We are looking for IT Operations & Network Support Specialist who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brunssum, the Netherlands.

Eligibility:

• Candidate must have resided in Portugal for at least the past 5 years.
• Portuguese citizenship is mandatory.
• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree is required.
• Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU security clearance upon accepting the job offer (with Hexa coordination).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide
  - level technical support for Local Area Network (LAN), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and datacentre operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and control all data systems and services to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in the Incident Management process:
  
  assess operational impact, identify affected services/users, and dispatch incidents to the appropriate technical teams.
• Administer monitoring and control platforms to ensure optimal system performance.
• Coordinate and initiate corrective actions for network or service failures in cooperation with regional and control teams.
• Utilize service management tools and automated processing systems to restore and maintain service availability and performance.
• Follow established processes and contribute to their improvement under senior guidance.
• Draft and maintain operational documentation and level 1 support materials, including advice notices and interface standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external entities to ensure timely service restoration.
• Provide 24/7 coverage as required through shift work and
  - call availability.
• Cooperate with other service lines and participate in training sessions.
• Execute additional support tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical support for LAN and telecommunications systems.
• Experience with WAN, voice systems, and VDI technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT networking, telecommunications, and information technology systems.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Aria Operations (formerly VROPS).
• Familiarity with IT Service Management practices (e. G. , incident and problem management) and relevant toolsets such as ITSM platforms.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic requirements in a control centre environment.
• Proficient in using monitoring and management tools;
  
  prior exposure to SPECTRUM, Zabbix, or SCOM is a plus.
• CCNA certification is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a NOC or SOC setting is a strong asset.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
