IT Operations Engineer - Almada

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Almada (Margem Sul).

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary contact for projects, coordinating between internal teams and client stakeholders to address technical and operational needs.
Maintain

- date project documentation to enable efficient execution by team members.
Lead technical discussions during client meetings, monitor task progress, and ensure client requirements are properly addressed and delivered.
Identify and prioritize tasks that create value and drive project success in collaboration with the client.
Guide the team in aligning their tasks with project goals, ensuring
- time delivery.
Handle advanced performance challenges, including production issue resolutions, business process optimization, and technical assurance activities using Crossjoin’s performance methodology.
Manage service delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations and resolution of major incidents.
Mentor and support team members, ensuring the application of best practices and maintaining technical excellence throughout the project.

Requirements (Mandatory):

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
4+ years of proven experience in roles such as IT Operations Manager, Site Reliability Engineer Lead, Platform Engineer Lead, Production Support Lead, Dev
Ops Team Lead, Infrastructure Lead, Cloud Operations Lead, or Systems Engineering Lead.
Hands-on technical expertise within the last year in enterprise solutions (e. g. , CRM, Billing, Middleware, or similar).
Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to Have:

Experience with APM tools (e. g. , Dynatrace, App
Dynamics, Datadog, or New
Relic) and/or ELK stack.
Familiarity with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Service
Now.
Expertise in troubleshooting applications in production environments (e. g. , Weblogic, JBoss, Databases, Java).
Knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with relational or No
SQL databases (e. g. , Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, Cassandra).
Good command of Spanish.
