IT Program Director - Global NGO - Lisbon, Portugal

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Program Director to lead
- scale IT programs, including data center management, digital transformation, and system migration initiatives. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of critical technology projects that support a global mission.

As IT Program Director, you will oversee
- functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive operational excellence. This hybrid role is based in Lisbon, Portugal, with occasional travel to other regional offices as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive IT program strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead data center management, system migration, and digital transformation projects.
• Establish and oversee governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with NGO regulations and standards.
• Collaborate closely with global IT teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure program success.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient program delivery.
• Monitor program performance using KPIs and provide regular reports to leadership.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the IT teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IT Program Director or in a similar senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of data center operations, cloud migration, and digital transformation.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT programs within large global organizations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Relevant certifications (e. G. , PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) are preferred.
