It Project Manager - Porto

We are looking for an IT Project Manager, to integrate directly the team of our client – a reference company in the fintech sector.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?

Planning, execution & delivery of highly complex projects, focusing on an organization that works as a Software Factory and managing/leading the team assigned to those projects;
Manage multipleprojects in a
- paced, technical environment, adhering to best practice Project Management methodologies and techniques;
Plan and coordinate national and international projects and services, ensuring the financial and operational control of projects;
Define the project team organization;
Identify and monitor risk factors in the Project and manage project risks;
Coordinate the project team’s communication with the customer (report status and updates);
Coach and develop team members.

What is required from you?

Academic background in Computer Engineering, Science or similar areas;
Minimum 03 years of experience in project management at a senior level directly managing technical teams;
Experience in software development lifecycle & business change projects;
Availability tomanage projects in a broad range of time zone;
Previous knowledge and/or experience in Project Management Software Tools and Agile methodologies;
Previous exposure and contact to financial sector/banking will be valued;
Project management Certification (PMI, CAP, Agile, Scrum, etc. ) will be valued;
Capable of constructively challenging the status quo, a way of working, or a requirement in order to improve overall value;
Dynamism and sense of responsibility;
Ability to workunder pressure and take initiative,
- solving and negotiation skills;
Availability totravel outside the country;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Fluency in English (B2 minimum).
