IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional projects within the banking domain, ensuring alignment with business strategy, compliance, and technology architecture.
• Manage project lifecycle activities: scope, resource planning, timelines, risk assessment, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure technical solutions meet financial and operational needs.
• Oversee vendor and third‑party management, ensuring deliverables and budgets are met.
• Prepare and present status updates, executive reports, and steering committee materials.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and constraints proactively.
• Drive continuous improvement in project governance, agile/hybrid delivery models and cross‑team collaboration.
• Ensure all initiatives comply with regulatory and security standards relevant to the financial industry.
• Demonstrate a proactive and collaborative attitude in problem‑solving.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in the finance, banking, or fintech sectors.
• Proven track record in technology‑driven initiatives (e. g. , system integrations, digital banking platforms, data migrations, or core banking implementations).
• Solid understanding of financial products and operational processes.
• Strong technical acumen — ability to discuss architecture, APIs, integrations, and data models with developers.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams (business analysts, developers, testers, external vendors).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills — able to influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Proficient with project management tools (e. g. , JIRA, Confluence, Azure Dev
  Ops).
• Familiarity with Agile / Hybrid / PM² / PRINCE2 / PMP methodologies.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages a plus.
• High resilience and perseverance in solving complex problems.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, results‑oriented environment.
