The digital solution hub in Lisbon will be a global IT competence center for Schüco International KG and OTTO FUCHS KG. It will drive transformational initiatives and ensure stability, performance, and security across on‑premises and cloud environments. Working in global, interdisciplinary teams, we will deliver reliable services, implement automation and observability, and uphold compliance and resilience. Together, we will shape the future.
TASKS
- Project Planning & Control: You plan, structure, and coordinate IT projects end‑to‑end — ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables are met through clear project frameworks and structured planning methods.
- Stakeholder Management: You act as the central interface between business units and IT, ensuring alignment of expectations, transparent communication, and effective decision‑making across all stakeholders.
- Change & Communication Management: You manage change processes, prepare communication strategies, and support teams during transformation initiatives to ensure smooth organisational transitions.
- Quality Assurance: You define quality standards, monitor deliverables, and ensure that project outcomes meet the required technical and operational criteria.
- Budget & Cost Control: You manage project budgets, track costs, conduct financial forecasting, and ensure resources are used efficiently.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: You lead and coordinate cross‑functional project teams (functionally), support collaboration, resolve conflicts, and foster a productive working environment.
- Reporting & Documentation: You maintain structured documentation, prepare status reports, track KPIs, and ensure transparency for management and key stakeholders.
- Technology & Method Integration: You introduce new technologies, methodologies, and best practices into project environments — in collaboration with solution architects and developers.
PROFILE
- Project Management Expertise: You have extensive experience in managing IT projects and are proficient in common methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or PMI frameworks.
- Tool Knowledge: You are experienced with project planning and collaboration tools (e. g. , Service
Now, MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and familiar with ITSM systems, CMDBs, monitoring platforms, as well as collaboration suites like Share
Point, MS Teams, or Document360. - Technical Understanding: You have a solid understanding of IT infrastructures, cloud environments, software development processes, system integrations, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Leadership Skills: You bring great leadership and motivational skills, have experience in guiding international and cross‑functional teams, and excel at conflict resolution and team development.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: You communicate complex technical topics clearly — even to non‑technical stakeholders — and are skilled in stakeholder analysis and expectation management.
- Risk & Change Management: You identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, manage change processes, and understand the organisational impact of IT transformations.
- Financial & Analytical Skills: You can manage budgets, perform cost forecasting, create ROI calculations, and make data‑driven decisions through strong analytical thinking.
- Language skills: You have very good English skills.
- You need to already be living in Portugal, preferably in the Lisbon metropolitan area (We will not accept applicants from outside Portugal).
