Job Overview

We are looking for an IT Systems, Firewall, Network & Infrastructure Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data and voice communications network. The ideal candidate will deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth IT operations tailored to the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions, managing projects from conception to completion.
• Support, configure, maintain, upgrade networks, servers, firewalls and related hardware and software.
• Install and maintain security and telecommunication systems and networks.
• Integrate new IT hardware and applications.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure with other departments to meet business requirements.
• Configure, manage and maintain network equipment; perform network processing for centralized and distributed connectivity.
• Manage service level agreements (SLAs).
• Create comprehensive network documentation using Visio or Power
  Point.

Key Duties (Job Brief)

• Provide full support, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for in‑house networks, servers, firewalls, PBX systems, and security systems.
• Possess mandatory knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls and servers.
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Monitor system updates and perform necessary updates promptly.
• Administer third‑party applications and ensure network security and connectivity.
• Monitor network performance metrics and conduct vulnerability testing.
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Resolve end‑user problems and define network policies.
• Specify system requirements and design solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure business uptime.
• Maintain knowledge of voice and data (cross‑domain concepts).
• Track daily backups and address security vulnerabilities.
• Provide Level‑1 support for desktops, laptops, networking and server log monitoring.
• Maintain Windows Active Directory, file servers, MS Office 2019/365 and Open
  Office environments.
• Handle user tickets within SLA limits.

Qualifications

• Background and experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
• 1 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience with networking, routing and switching (L1‑L3, routing protocols).
• Experience with firewall operations including web filtering, bandwidth management and UTM features.
• Wireless configuration and implementation expertise.
• Best practices knowledge in server infrastructure management, control and monitoring.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Capability to set up and configure hardware (switches, routers).
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
• Adherence to ITIL processes and SLAs.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Experience with Vo
  IP/Polycom and related systems.
• Hands‑on with switching, routing, Sophos, Cisco, Fortigate, open‑source PBX, IDS/IPS, IPsec tunnels.
• Escalation handling and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
