IT Quality Assurance (Data)

Location: Full-remote in Portugal (candidates must have valid documentation to legally work in Portugal).

What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans specifically for data products and BI solutions
• Identify and document defects in data processes, working closely with developers and analysts to ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to guarantee data quality, consistency, and accuracy across the organization
• Create and maintain test data and test cases for BI/Data testing
• Monitor and report on test results, including defect tracking and resolution status
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects in data pipelines or BI layers, providing recommendations for improvement
• Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for testing, data governance, and data management
• Provide input into the design and development of data warehouse and BI solutions, with a focus on testing and quality assurance
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated data testing scripts and frameworks

What you are like

• Proven experience in testing Data and BI projects (minimum 2 years)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts and technologies
• Experience with SQL and data validation
• Experience with data visualization tools (e. g. , Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in data migration testing projects is a plus
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
