Profile
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or information security roles;
- Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and monitoring patching activities across complex IT environments;
- Strong understanding of patch management processes, tools, and lifecycle;
- Experience in regulated or audited environments (e. G. , finance, healthcare, government) is an advantage;
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, change management, and incident escalation processes;
- Familiarity withcompliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI‑DSS, and CIS;
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and vulnerability management principles;
- Understanding ofvulnerability scoring systems (e. G. , CVSS) and assessment tools (e. G. , Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7);
- Experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams to align patching with vulnerability remediation plans;
- Ability to develop andmanage patch deployment schedules and maintenance windows with minimal business disruption;
- Skilled in monitoring patch deployment success, generating audit and compliance reports, and tracking remediation progress;
- Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities to prioritize patches based on business impact and exposure;
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and endpoint;
- Understanding ofvirtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Proficiency in documentation, creating patch reports, compliance dashboards, and maintaining audit trails;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with infrastructure, application, and security teams;
- Ability to explain technical topics to technical stakeholders clearly and effectively;
- Experience managing patch exceptions and delays, conducting risk assessments, and applying compensating controls;
- Skilled in maintainingpatch management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards;
- Fluency in English is mandatory;
