IT Security Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead key initiatives in the realm of Information & IT Security. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, seamlessly blending classical project management techniques with agile methodologies to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Security as a Product: Lead and orchestrate the "Security as a Product" organization, driving the adoption of agile methodologies and ensuring their effective integration into security processes.
ISO Project: Manage the ISO project, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and achieving timely,
- quality delivery.
Additional Security Projects: Take ownership of 1-2 smaller security projects, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
PMO Support: Provide overarching project management support for additional
- related initiatives, ensuring alignment, coordination, and operational efficiency across all projects.
Task description:
Close alignment & collaboration with the IT Security & IT Compliance Officer
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for both agile and waterfall projects
Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Coordination of the technical concept creation and implementation
Planning and coordination of the integrative test phases (T-test phase, UAT phase)
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with
- functional teams, including IT Security, IT Infrastructure and other IT units
Facilitate meetings and presentations to ensure stakeholder alignment and support
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations
Report on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and propose solutions
Risk and Compliance Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with security projects
Consider organizational security policies.
Coordination of Multiple Projects
Oversee and manage 1-2 smaller security projects, ensuring their successful delivery.
Act as a PMO for all
- related initiatives, providing guidance, coordination, and support to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. Coordination of the technical concept creation
Utilize agile methodologies, such as Kanban or other agile elements, to enhance project efficiency and adaptability
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging regular feedback and iterative development
Implement agile tools and practices to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity
Support team members in adopting agile practices and principles
Job profile:
IT project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
IT change management processes
Process management
Extensive experience in IT Security
Tool Proficiency:
Preferably a good experience with:
Clarity PPM
MS Teams
MS PPT
Professional Expertise:
At least five years of professional experience in successfully executing and managing traditional IT projects
Strong experience in agile project management methodologies
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
Organized,
- oriented work style characterized by a high degree of initiative
Proficient in English, both written and spoken
PMP certification, Scrum Master certification
Soft Skills:
Rhetoric & Presentation: Excellent
