The Senior IT Solution Expert Finance provides expert guidance in both technical domains—such as IT application integration, system enhancements, and architecture—and functional areas like finance process optimization, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role bridges Finance and IT to ensure business processes are strategically aligned with PMI's objectives.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 8+ years in IT Finance roles, with proven experience in solution management, vendor coordination, and budget oversight

Skills

• Strong understanding of finance systems and IT architecture
• Strong Understanding of common frameworks like SCRUM, ITIL
• Understanding on the end to end business processes especially on the areas of PBF&R and/or Record to Report (specifically Consolidation & Management Reporting)
• 8+ years of experience in IT solutions implementations and support in platforms such as Tagetik, SAP and Oracle ERP systems (minimum 1)
• Understanding of cloud technologies (Saa
  S, Paa
  S, Iaa
  S) architectures, ecosystem, hybrid and private cloud
• Knowledge in Integration technologies (API Rest, EDA, API Gateway, Event
  Bridge)
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into value generating technical solutions
• Understanding how to work with data for AI/Gen
  AI applications and ML model design, LLM training/fine-tuning and RAG pipelines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Languages

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Application Support & Operations

• Ensure smooth execution of IT processes supporting PMI Finance applications in compliance with PMI IT Policy Framework, policies, and code of conduct
• Facilitate

  - end accountability between all key stakeholders (Finance, IT Architects, Vendors) ensuring operational excellence
• Craft, document and implement comprehensive IT solutions that address quality management needs, incorporating industry's best practices, cyber security best practices and innovative technologies (i. e Gen
  AI)
• Assesses technological trends in your domain to proactively identify new or improve solutions
• Oversee technical aspects of software package solutions, e. g. , major upgrades, migrations
• Understands and provides guidance on both functional and technical details for the applications supporting PBF&R Finance domain
• Evaluate and challenge business requirements to ensure optimal solutions that support global processes and maintain a
  - proof system architecture

Budgeting & Planning

• Provide input for IT applications that support budgeting and planning and track consumption in line with PMI's budget cycle and IT Planning guidelines

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Promote a healthy work environment by sharing expertise and collaborating across teams
