What do you need to become a SMART IT Support L3 Engineer?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field

3 to 6 years of
- on experience in L3 technical support

Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and Windows Server

Experience with scripting (Shell, Perl, Power
Shell)

Solid understanding of network security, certificates, encryption

Comfort working with relational and No
SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Mongo
DB, Couch
Base)

Familiar with infrastructure and CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, XL Deploy, Confluence

Exposure to application servers (IIS, JBoss, Tomcat) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Control-M)

Ability to handle
- call rotation for
- critical applications

Fluency in English (mandatory); French is a nice plus

What will you be doing at Smart?

Provide Level 3 technical support for IT infrastructure and applications
Investigate and resolve production incidents and ensure application stability
Lead and coordinate technical operations, from data center events to infrastructure changes
Support application deployments, infrastructure migrations, and architecture improvements
Improve tools, automation, and procedures to strengthen system reliability and security
Set up monitoring metrics, analyze system loads, and optimize performance
Guarantee data backup, restore, and participate in DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) testing
Work closely with developers, sysadmins, DBAs, and security teams
Document architecture, procedures, and support guides
