About the Job

The IT Team Leader’s mission is to provide direction and set the organization for the team, by providing guidelines and constructing processes, as well as guiding the team members to reach business goals. As the first line in charge of people development, the mission is to support the team throughout the path in the organization, in terms of performance, motivation and professional growth. Additionally, the leader is responsible for service continuity and availability and for steering run performance.

Your Main Activities Are

• Manage the activity from a business and team management standpoint, providing estimations and planning for activities in development, reporting the necessary KPI of the activity and ensuring team alignment in the proper accomplishment of the team's results.
• Be an active contributor in the development of new projects and stakeholder’s relationship, while also supporting transversal projects designed to foster overall efficiency objectives.
• Support, develop and empower team members, focusing on their individual skillset, aspirations and development needs, to equip them for current roles and future challenges.
• Manage all team members and organizational topics: workload planning and distribution (including staff holidays, absences, back‑up schemes), follow‑up on recruitment processes, mobility and newcomers; evaluate daily work and write annual appraisals; follow‑up on each group member’s performance and motivation.
• Coordinate people involved in production to guarantee the quality of the applications operations.
• Guarantee communication with the Business.
• Guarantee the proper functioning in everyday use of applications and infrastructures serving the Businesses.

Profile and Skills to Success

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading Application Management.
• Programming, Scripting or Application troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced level of English, both written and oral.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and be hands‑on.
• Ability to inspire others and generate commitment.
• Client focused.
