The Role
The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and attentive Italian-speaking Content Moderator to join our
- site team in Porto. In this position, you will review
- generated content to ensure it aligns with platform guidelines and contribute to the
- being and security of our online community. Prior experience in content moderation or a similar field is beneficial but not required; we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all necessary skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Content Assessment: Examine and analyze
- created content (videos, images, text, and audio) submitted to a major online platform, verifying adherence to community rules and policies. - Policy Enforcement: Apply platform policies to identify and take action on content that violates guidelines, including hate speech, misinformation, bullying, and graphic material.
- Critical Thinking & Judgment: Use sound judgment to make swift and precise decisions regarding content, often under pressure.
- Record Keeping: Document all content review decisions and actions in internal systems with clear records.
- Trend Identification: Recognize emerging content trends or policy gaps and escalate observations to relevant internal teams.
- Collaboration: Work with team leads and online safety specialists to ensure uniform guideline application and share best practices.
- Personal Well-being Management: Utilize available

What We're Seeking
- Language Fluency: Native or
- native Italian (spoken and written) is crucial. Strong professional working proficiency in English is also required for internal communication, training, and understanding policies. - Strong Ethical Stance: Commitment to online safety and understanding of how harmful content impacts online communities.
- Analytical & Judgment Skills: Ability to grasp complex guidelines and apply them to diverse content scenarios.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness to ensure accurate content categorization and policy enforcement.
