About The Job

• IT Transversal & Functions is a large organization within ITG, responsible for building and delivering solutions and applications for BNP Paribas's main functions. It covers the IT landscape and drives IT strategy for 14 functions across more than 10 locations in 3 regions, with a community of 2, 500 people and a portfolio of over 350 applications.
• ITT&F aims to address an evolving environment with more transversal topics impacting multiple functions. It enables pooling of common services, aligns the ambitions of functions and IT strategies, enhances coverage, and delivers better global service offerings.
• In Spain and Portugal, activities are grouped into the ITTF Iberian platform, which offers diverse expertise and competencies.
• Finance & Risk Solutions continues the success of FRESH, providing IT support for the Filière Unique, Finance & Strategy, and RISK (credit risk) across the Group. It manages tools and solutions for financial and regulatory reporting, credit risk calculation, accounting control, and liquidity reporting.
• Entities Core Solutions manages financial data collection and processing platforms locally, including systems like One Financial System, which is the Group standard, and local ledgers being replaced by OFS. The ECS 02 - Control Tools team handles projects related to accounting control tools, manual entry tools, and develops data controls and defaulting tools for various data types.
• The RDI (Risk Data Interpreter) application offers a group risk data interpretation service, implementing validated methodologies for credit and counterparty risk reporting. It features a flexible rule management system, supports quick deployment, and offers simulation capabilities.
• In Portugal, the team oversees application management, guides development, and provides support for all functionalities, ensuring stakeholder engagement and application availability.

Your Main Activities Are

• The RDI Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying problems, and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. They bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project alignment with business goals.
• Conduct workshops to gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Document needs clearly using techniques like user stories and use cases.
• Help prioritize requirements based on business value and feasibility.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications.
• Implement specifications using a proprietary business rule management system.
• Perform tests to ensure results meet user requirements.
• Support the business with
  - hoc requests such as data extraction and analysis.
• Manage access rights.

Profile And Skills To Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience as a business or data analyst.
• Previous banking experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of credit risk (GRR, RWA, LGD, Probability of Default) is advantageous.
• Mandatory knowledge of ETL data integration processes.
• Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
• Python knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git, Confluence, and JIRA is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (C1) is mandatory; French is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, client focus, attention to detail, analytical skills, and
  - solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, adaptability, and
  - tasking capabilities.
