Role Summary

We are looking for a Security Engineer with strong software engineering foundations to support multiple
- driven initiatives. The role combines hands‑on development, technical expertise, and active participation in architecture and project discussions.

Hybrid in Lisbon (2 days per week
- site)

Mission Responsibilities

• Act as Security Engineer within
  - oriented projects
• Provide technical insight to help define optimal technical solutions
• Support the team lead in daily and weekly project meetings
• Handle multiple projects in parallel and manage priorities efficiently
• Troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions
• Participate directly in development activities when required

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT
• Experience in the banking sector is preferred
• Background in risk, accounting, compliance, tax, financial security or payments is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple projects

Technical Expertise

• Java Development: Strong skills in API design and implementation using frameworks such as Spring, JPA and Hibernate
• Back‑End Development: Experience with SQL/No
  SQL databases, REST APIs, microservices, and server‑side technologies
• Software Architecture & Design Patterns: Ability to design scalable, secure and maintainable systems
• CI/CD & Deployment: Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes and monitoring tools
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Unit testing, integration testing and strong focus on software quality
• Cloud Services (nice to have): AWS, Azure or GCP
• Data/BI knowledge (nice to have)
